Dr Thomas Ofem is a highly experienced Public Health Professional with 30 years in the field, specialising in designing and managing Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) programs for HIV/AIDS, malaria, and MNCH. His career includes strategic and technical leadership roles, such as Senior Technical Advisor & West and Central Africa Lead at Genesis Analytics, and Chief of Party for the USAID-funded C-Change project, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex, multi-million-dollar projects. Key achievements include leading the "Heart-to-Heart" national campaign in Nigeria, which resulted in an over 50% increase in HIV testing, and influencing national policy through the introduction of HIV prevention minimum packages and establishing SBC Communication as a university course. Holding a PhD in Health Education and Promotion from Walden University (2022) and an M.P.H. in Health Promotion from the University of Liverpool (2015), he is a visionary leader poised to contribute to re-imagining health and development in Africa.
